Kuro is a junior high school student and Ramune's disciple and assistant. He has good judgment and motor skills, as well as a rational mind. It's hard to understand his mood due to having a poker face and is always having to play the straight man when Ramune says or does anything. Kuro trusts Ramune's skills as a specialist of mystery diseases completely.
Kuro had a special ability to see the mysterious things that other people can't. According to Ramune, that is not normal because it is a complication of "rare" mysterious disease. It caused Kuro to vomit sand, no matter if he had eaten food earlier or not. When Kuro was completely recovered, he could still see those mysterious unities.
His home is a dojo, so his judgment and technique are very good. This was later recognized by Momiji.
